In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

After almost a month apart while Steve was trekking around New Zealand, the boys are reuKnighted and back behind the mics!

Brendan and Steve waste no time and dive straight in to the latest news including Tom Hardy getting juiced up on Venom, the latest casting announcement for the Ducktales reboot and what the critics are saying after the first screenings of Wonder Woman.

The guys have both seen the scary movie everyone is talking about, "Get Out" and they give their review and light bulb rating, as does Brendan for the new documentary "Batman & Bill".

Next up is the segment you all love, Trailer Trash! Hear the guys decide what's trash or treasure out of the lastest trailers for Transformers: The Last Knight, War For The Planet Of The Apes, The Dark Tower and finally, the Wonder Woman "Warrior" trailer.

Steve then tells us all about the geeky things he got up to over in the land of the long white cloud including a trip to the world of Hobbiton and a tour of the Weta Workshop.

To wrap things up the boys jump in The Fapmobile to release their pent up excitement before dimming the light to say goodbye to a rock legend.

To celebrate Free Comic Book Day Brendan sat down with Grant from HALO Certification to find out about the world of grading comic books.

Grant's story is a fascinating one that everyone from the casual to hardcore comic collector will enjoy.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

With no movies to review in this episode, the boys go back to basics!

Newsflash makes a return where many of the the top stories of the last few weeks get discussed including casting for Cable in Deadpool 2, Young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts 2 and The Genie in Aladdin.

Everyones favourite segment Trailer Trash is back again and the boys cast their eyes over the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the new Transformers: The Last Knight trailer and Steve finally watches the Thor: Ragnarok trailer for the first time.

Next up Brendan Shines The Light on Brisbane's newest comic book store, Comic Empire and finally it's a musical trip in The Fapmobile to close out the show.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

This episode Brendan and Steve are reunited after several weeks apart to discuss, among other things, the trailer that saw the fans around the world and the Justice League unite with the release of the first trailer for the upcoming movie.

You'll also get to hear Steve's reaction to seeing the second Spider-man: Homecoming trailer for the very first time.

Several big movies have been released since the boys last episode and Brendan has seen The Lego Batman movie and gives his review before both Brendan and Steve talk Power Rangers.

Many other topics are also covered including the news about the potential Batgirl movie, Kevin Smith's Goldbergs episode and the new Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.

It's a Knight Light Special!

On the eve of the new Beauty And The Beast movie being released in Australia and only hours before attending a special gala premiere of the film, Brendan is once again joined by his lovely wife Jess to record this special episode of The Knight Light.

Brendan and Jess pointed The Construct satellite towards Los Angeles and were joined by very special guest, Samantha Bell DiGenova, who, amongst other characters, used to play Belle at Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disney! Yes that's right, a real life Disney Princess on The Knight Light!

I what was a dream come true for Jess, you'll get to hear all about Samantha's time as Belle as well as how she got the role and what it took to become the character every day.

You may have also seen the Buzzfeed video that swept social media last week of Emma Watson answering fan questions whilst being surrounded by Kittens.  Well what you wouldn't know is that the person talking to Emma off screen and handing her the kittens was Samantha!

So you'll get to hear what happened behind the scenes of that video and Samantha's experience of not just meeting Emma Watson (and what Emma said when she found out Samantha used to play Belle) but the entire cast of Beauty And The Beast at the films LA press junket.

So set aside your provincial life and join Brendan, Jess and BELLE (!) in the great wide somewhere that is The Knight Light.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

Brendan and Steve are joined in The Construct this week by Knight Light favourite Grace - so straight off the bat you know this episode will be NSFW!

The three of them had three main topics to discuss in this episode - Logan, Kong: Skull Island, and for all the gamers out there, Steve and Grace have a long chat about the new Nintendo Switch and Zelda Breath Of The Wild.

But that's not all! You'll also hear the trio talk about Power Rangers, Marvel's Iron Fist, Grace's new book and more.

So strap yourselves in, leave your morals at the door and hold on to your butts cos this is a long one!

*Around the 2hr 1min mark there is a slight glitch in the episode where the audio sounds layered. This was not present in the final edit of the episode and last for around 1 minute. Apologies for any inconvenience.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

The boys are back in The Construct to DEconstruct all the news that has caught their eyes in the last two weeks including the release of the Nintendo Switch and Logan, Matt Reeves taking charge of The Batman franchise, the sad passing of Bill Paxton and more.

For the first time in 2017 the garbage truck unloads some Trailer Trash as the boys cast their eyes across the new trailers for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 and the new Duck Tales TV series.

In the last episode Brendan and Steve gave their tips for who was gonna take home Oscars at the Academy Awards and this time around, we get to hear how well they did as they discuss all the winners....and the major loser from Monday's ceremony.

As always the show ends with a trip in The Fapmobile. One of the guys had a live Jurassic Park experience and the other, their first stroll down the red carpet.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

The boys return to The Construct after quite a long and unplanned break since the last episode!

So much has happened in their time away (including Brendan's birthday) that it would take forever to cover everything so instead a few select headlines are covered in Newsflash, including the odd news of Mel Gibson being in discussions to direct Suicide Squad 2.

Brendan and Steve both Light It Up about the absolute joke that is John Wick 2 getting an Australian release date and Brendan Shines The Light on his new favourite store, VIP Toys.

The guys then tackle a subject never before touched on in The Construct - The Academy Awards. Both Steve and Brendan have been doing their best to view all 9 Best Picture nominated films before the awards are handed out and they give their thoughts and opinions on each one. They then give their tips as to who they think will win the "big 5" awards on the night as well as their predition for Best Animated Film.

Finally the engine is revved up on The Fapmobile to take us out where Brendan is fapping about owning a piece of genuine Batman history for the last 24 years and never being aware of it.

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHT LIGHT!

It's the first week of 2017 and the one thing everyone seems to agree on is that 2016 sucked. Right?  Well it kinda did, but not to the level that everyone will remember it did.

That's exactly why Brendan and Steve entered The Construct for the first time in the new year -  to look back at the GOOD things that came out of 2016 for them and for the podcast.

In a slightly laid back way, (no regular segments this time) the guys just share how they spent their holidays and look back on the year that was, before looking forward to what's got them excited for 2017.

The guys both also pay their respects and acknowledge the sad passing of Carrie Fisher, as well as Debbie Reynolds and George Michael.

But things finish on a positive note as The Fapmobile (Ok, one regular segment!) is reved up for its first lap of 2017!

In Brightest Day, In Darkest Knight, Welcome To...THE KNIGHTLIGHT!

Merry Christmas!

Once again Brendan have Steve have dived under the Christmas tree in The Construct on Christmas Morning to record a special little episode for you all as a gift on this special day.

The guys exchange their gifts to one another and we get to hear their reactions.

SPOILER ALERT: Steve cries. Twice.

Brendan and Steve wish you all the merriest of Christmases and a happy, healthy, safe and most importantly, a geeky new year!
